It's not exactly clear what Donald Trump's own position is on this matter. But do you think that muslims are enough of a security threat in the U.S. that there should be a registry or database of muslims, even if they are U.S. citizens?

Do you think that mosques in the U.S. should be monitored? Does any of this violate the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution?

Muslim majority countries have a registry of their Non-Muslim and Muslim citizens.

Many Muslim countries strive to monitor mosques within their borders to curtail extremism.

Trump's position is to thoroughly vet those who come in to this country, especially those who come from countries with terrorist ties.

I believe in a "terror watch list", I do not believe in putting anyone in a database just because.

Do away with the Patriot Act, transfer power of Homeland Security to various agencies, and no don't put any individual on a watch list due to their religion.

Where is the option of a registry for Muslims on work or student visas from countries with large number of Islamic extremists?

I suppose that can fall under option #3, security threat/risk.

We have to ask ourselves how we want to interpret the Constitution. Since we can require registration of gun owners and guns, then I see no reason why we can't require registration of muslims. Both guns and islam can be dangerous. If the anti-2nd amendment people want to agree that registration is unconstitutional, then I am fine with not registering all muslims.

Does that mean you want to live in a Muslim-majority country, or perhaps you want the US to start enacting laws like those that exist in Muslim-majority countries?

Those are nowhere close to being equivalent things.

We have a no-fly list with no due process, at this point what difference does it make?
