You should care if we bring in thousands of people from similar countries... you think they will cross the border amd all of a sudden be like, "oh wow I can see clearly now the rain is gone" nope... just look at Europe, they are trying to kick out the reguees they let in with hughing arms because violence etc went way up.
I just don't understand why Liberals are so quick to attack Christians about declaring war on women for wanting to prevent abortions, meanwhile they will make every excuse in the book to defend Muslim culture. In Saudi Arabia women aren't even allowed to drive a car. A married woman can get sent to prison if she is raped by another man. A husband can physically beat his wife with little to no risk of being charged. The list goes on and on.
Because Christians are too smart to vote for them so they go after any vote they think they can get while not giving a them about the person behind that vote.
They will say, "thanks for your vote, see you in 4 years" and meanwhile enrich themselves.
I'm a liberal, and as far as Muslim culture, I'm intelligent enough to know that not all Muslims are violent and hateful.

Unlike Islam, submission is to the secular State.
But what about those who do not wish to submit? The infidels?
This opposition holds to the belief that the individual has Creator endowed rights that governments were instituted to secure, and can only govern by consent of the governed. Ergo, the people do not submit to the state, nor to any ideology that infringes upon their endowment.

Leftists and Muslims are slaves of their ideology, desire converts, and are fierce in attacking those who disagree and oppose them. Hence the Leftists ally themselves with Islam, because they share an enemy. Ironically, when the Muslims gain ascendancy, they will convert, conquer or kill the Leftists. Ditto, for the Leftists. (Case in point : persecution of religions in communist paradises.)

I can support people's rights to choose to be Muslim, but also not support the individuals who discriminate against others. If you're a Muslim and commit hate crimes against the LGBT community, I will protest against you for the hate, not for the religion.
Not all Muslims are the same, not all Catholics are the same , not all conservatives are the same, not all liberals are the same, not all Americans are the same. I would not want to be judged based on what my neighbor says or does.
I'm embarrassed for both of you. I'm a liberal, and as far as Muslim culture, I'm intelligent enough to know that not all Muslims are violent and hateful. The militant radical violent Muslims need to be eliminated, but 95% of Muslims don;t make the news because they are law abiding. Maybe all whites should be wiped out due to Dylan Roof then? Or Christians that kill for the radical beliefs-should all whites and white Christians be put in the same category as the worst whites and Christians?

I have to disagree. Firstly, when was the last time we heard about Christians, fundies or otherwise, committing murder, rape, terror attacks and forming armies that do all those things en masse across multiple countries? The US included. All in the name of their religion. Regularly, especially this time of year, we see Christians scarified for expressing their Faith. Even people who put up displays of Faith on their own private property are forced to take those displays down because some group or individual feels offended or makes claims that these displays somehow force Christianity on people. Maybe a school kid wears a Faith related article of clothing to school and is sent home and forced to change it, or maybe a teacher hangs a wreath and is summarily disciplined and told to take it down.
Just a couple examples. But in the same breath a Muslim news anchor wears her hijab on air and the same leftist moonbats that raise all the fuss about the aforementioned things gush all over themselves about "cultural enrichment". Same with displays observing Muslim holidays whether on private or public property or even in schools. To be fair its not just Islam they fawn over this way. Anything but Christianity or Judaeism is OK. Wicca, even Satanism can express themselves wherever whenever and it , again, "cultural enrichment" and promoting "diversity."
If Christians were to be doing the things Islamist are, the uproar would be deafening. Yet an Islamist goes on a killing spree on a college campus (again) and we hear about how we need to understand these people, have sympathy for them and show them more tolerance. We would never hear anything like that if Christians were to commit such acts. Christianity has evolved in the greater percentage in the areas you speak of in your post. Islam has not and will not. So, is it surprising that they could be seen as the enemy? WE hear no widespread condemnation of terrorist acts and atrocities by Islamic groups by these "good Muslims" which is not to hard to see as tacit support. If some Muslims do decry these acts then fatwas are issued on them. And it more than likely they will be carried out.
The worst of Islam are the ones in control of the Faith. If they are the minority it sure doesn't show.
I am a Christian who went to a Catholic school when I was younger. I honestly enjoyed my experience as a Catholic school girl, at the same time, I honestly find extremely religious people annoying.
All B.S. aside, I am for seeing the next generation and my generation (I was born in 1985 - Millennial) of humanity free from tribal madness. I am for science, technology and our humanity’s spirit of going beyond and thriving through difficult times. I also believe religion and spiritual awareness is a highly personally journey. I don’t care for the united and divided hate diatribe more than I care for humanity to go forward. We need to go ahead.
Liberals come in a huge variety of flavors. I don’t think many of them are so protective of Muslim culture, but SOME do.
As Maajid Nawaz would call it - "The racism of low expectations". The mindset of SOME liberal apologist here is that Muslims simply cannot be held to the same standards as the rest of us. Without even realising it, liberals often take up what is a fairly bigoted position.
Some of them also believe TWO WRONG MAKES ONE RIGHT lol

What a fundamentally flawed argument. Plus, in today’s context, it’s absurd to equate Islam and Christianity. Pointing to the Spanish Inquisition tends to undermine the point rather than confirm it: if you have to look back three hundred years to find atrocities, it’s because there are so few of them today. The mass crimes committed under the name of Islam, by contrast, are fresh and openly boasted about.
Last but not the least,
Bigotry against innocent Muslims is inexcusable. Criticism/mockery/derision/satire of Islam is perfectly within the bounds of free speech. If it offends someone's sentiments then too bad.

So, is it surprising that they could be seen as the enemy?
