He is very partisan. He used on be on CNN, before moving to FOX, and played the "independent" voice, but now he has another tone. Glenn Beck was also on CNN, before moving to FOX with a completely different view. Of course the "new Beck" was too much even for FOX.

Hannity is a opinion person. He has never advertised himself to be anything else. The same goes with all the shows after 7pm on most cable news networks.
Bill O'Reilly will eat Megan's lunch if they go head to head. She is a bimbo and does not have half the experience or gravitas as O'Reilly.
Hannity is of one opinion: echo the most conservative republican. That's all. And it is quite embarrassing.
Bill O'Reilly and Lou Dobbs on the other hand, are conservatives but express independent and sometimes original thoughts.
So is Megyn Kelly.
Megyn is not the right fit for political shows. She could do morning talk shows or become like a Barbara Walters type. She used her brand to take shots at Trump which did a lot of damage. I'm sure CNN and ABC would love to have her.
