I can respect any warrior who openly and honorably fights for their belief. I may be at complete odds with it, but the fact that they stand up and openly fight for their belief, that I can respect, but... to hide, to obfuscate, to lie and deceive as an open principal to which Islam condones and promotes, well... there is no respect, their is no honor and those who are caught in such should be punished/killed/buried in the most atrocious way their religion finds offensive. They deserve no respect, no honor, no mention. Bury them in unmarked graves with pigs blood poured over them in the most unholy place to their belief in the most unholy way.
