We have been due for a big nose-dive for several years now. Anyone who truly believes that is not still coming is in for a rude awakening.
I'm afraid so. It's the nature of the beast, but usually the best move is to ride it out. Some posters here sold out when DOW hit 10K, because they thought it can't keep going up, but it did.
did you thank Obama for the 120% rise in the market over his 8 years... or was that the free market?
see how that works?
Actually the only thing that happened was my funds recovered and it just went back and forth once it did... a wasteful 8 years... luckily I invested in some tech companies and did well but those 2008 stocks had poor performance for that much time.. I don't blame Obama entirely as Bush definitely deserves a large portion of that blame...

It increased 300%, and you think it just went back and forth.....
You can blame Obama 100% if you want. I am sure he doesn't mind. LOL

It recovered what it lost and then stagnated the rest of the time... it's not a true gain when it recovers what it lost... The only thing I would blame Obama was the stagnation... very poor growth but then so was the economy...
