What's with the Secretary of State Huntsman rumors?

Is Team Trump really thinking about Republican Jon Huntsman, a former Obama appointee and failed Presidential candidate? Look at a Dec 5, 2011 YouTube video where Huntsman said he's not going to kiss Trump's anatomy.

Also, Huntsman is the one who sucked up to President Obama by sending him a handwritten note saying Obama was a "remarkable leader" and then underlined "remarkable" in case Obama missed that he really, really meant it. He also said in the handwritten note that Hillary Clinton was "personable, and has even more charisma than her husband!" I don't think Hillary Clinton's own family thinks she's that personable and charismatic.

The guy is a suck up.

Huntsman would be an excellent Secretary of State, and much preferred over Romney (or Giuliani).

Huntsman would have made a great president, too, and just maybe he'll get another shot (he's young).

While I'm no fan of Huntsman, I love that Trump is casting a wide net, and willing to eliminate people based on actual conversations and interactions with them.

That Democrats like the former Obama appointee, tells me he's the wrong suck up. Who needs an opportunist who will slobber all over you for a job? I wouldn't be surprised if Huntsman recommended himself.

Yeah, but just like the interview, conversation if you prefer, with Rep Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), Trump is gauging what a wide variety of people in public life think, see and believe. No harm. Better than a narrow focus on only ideas that agree with yours. At this point, I find it refreshing.

You have yet to state why you believe he is not qualified.

Huntsman was ambassador to Singapore and China, Deputy Trade Rep, Deputy Secretary of Commerce for Asia, Deputy Trade Administration, What House Staff Assistant to Reagan, Governor of Utah with an 80% approval rating and won re election with 78% of the vote.

He is probably the most qualified Republican for the job.

You dont like him because he was not on the Trump bandwagon, and that is not a good enough reason

He's lived in Taiwan twice. Another poke in the eye of China?

Huntsman is fluent in Chinese and very intelligent.

I do not know anything about his past positions or statements.
