I actually think Gore would be a good person to explain to Trump the importance of green industries. Get Trump to disregard the typical R rejection of climate change and focus on the fact that other countries do accept it and we would be wise to compete for the jobs, research & innovation involved. Gore was also one of more active VPs so he could give advice on how to staff/manage an administration.
At least that's what I'll tell myself,,, Because we all know Secretary of the Interior or EPA are offered to other folks per the rumors.
Option 3 is that Trump simply likes having everyone hike to NYC to keep his company.
Just when you thought it couldn't get stranger.....
Al Gore had a scheduled meeting with Ivanka Trump to specifically discuss climate change. After the meeting, Mr. Gore confirmed that he had an unscheduled meeting with President-elect Trump on the same topic.
Sounds like Donald was bored and wandering about the Trump Tower and bumped into Al Gore after the Ivanka meeting was finished.
Incorrect. He did not say what he & Trump talked about.
The Trump transition team had previously stated that Al Gore's meeting with Ivanka Trump was to be about climate change, and Gore himself said that he met afterwords with Donald Trump and described it as 'very productive', 'a sincere search for common ground' and 'an extremely interesting conversation, and to be continued'.
What else does Mr. Global Warming talk about with the President-elect? Man-Bear-Pig?
I won't be suprised if trump goes full on climatard after all he really hasn't held a consistent position on anything.
In his own words "I probably identify more as a Democrat"
Trump was a climate believer before he started pandering to the ignorant.
