Ted Cruz. Confirmable because he's disliked in the Senate. I dont' agree with him on everything by a longshot but he has a great legal mind.

Haven't had time to research all on the OP's list.

I also subscribe to the younger is better, ONLY for the sake of obviously longer terms. Of course there is much to be said for experience as well.

#1, Keith Blackwell

#9, Joan Larsen

#16, Amul Thapar

#18, David Stras

Of the four, Amul Thapar is the only one that has no experience as a Supreme Court Justice at the state level. But his history shows a penchant toward the application of stern sentencing and decision making, after deliberation.

Hoping for and predicting Diane Sykes. With Reince as chief of staff, she has a good chance.

Is Amul Thapar an Originalist though? That seems to be the main ideological consideration for Scalia's seat.

Stras is the youngest candidate on this list, but he's a large man, so that may worry some people if they take into consideration the health of the candidates.

The National Review, a Conservative news outlet that was firmly in the anti-Trump camp, makes the case for Thomas Lee:

I don't think anyone really cares considering what we'd be looking at had Hillary been the one making the nominations.
