I've been extremely surprised by the number of 1st generation immigrants I've met that are excited about Trump. The reasons vary, but a common theme are people that are proud of coming here legally, expect the government to enforce its laws with vigor, and a lot have cited Trump as the only person they believe will stand up to the leaders of the world from unsavory places. Today I was quite surprised to hear from several Chinese that thought he was the only one that would stand up to China.
I'm sure it's the not the majority....because the news told me that, over and over. Yet even there it looked like he did much better than past Republican nominees.
There's almost a sense of excitement. America unshackling itself from kowtowing to cultural awareness with a leader unhinged enough that the world may not want to challenge him. An America that will act first and then let us know what happened. An American that will stop letting its relative power ebb away in a polite fashion.
Anyway, I was rather surprised to see it in the middle of liberal California in many different social circles. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Outside of a 10 mile radius of NYC, Chicago, and Los Angeles. .. pretty much the whole country is so proud of Donald Trump. He may not be the best speaker, but he knows more about the world than all the rest, and he gets things done.
I once met a man from China who even competed in the Olympic games as a Chinese basketball player. He spoke VERY ill of China and stated that you are essentially told how you will live your life at the point of a gun. It opened my eyes to how good we actually have it here in America. I was about 10 or 11 years old when I met him. I think Trump supporters and 1st generation legal immigrants share a LOT in common with eachother. We expect the same things from America and it's government. Most people just want to work hard and earn their own while living their private lives as they wish.

Absolutely. Trump is in the process of putting China in its place. He is very familiar with the Chinese government, and knows how to handle them. The U.S. will no longer be the Chinese governments doormat.

If California didn't....
.....give drivers licenses to illegals (Spanish language signs and Spanish speakers are at all state Department of Motor Vehicle offices)
.....automatically register them to vote under its motor voter law (without requiring any ID or proof of citizenship; but even if those were required, you can buy fake documents for $150 and the Democrats who run the state want illegals to vote)
.....and give them voting materials and instructions written in Spanish......
then Hillary would have lost her 2.5 million national popular vote advantage.
As liberal as it is, California -- due to its huge size -- has by far more Republicans and conservative voters than any other state in the nation.

Trump has plenty of investments and businesses in China, after kicking his American workers out on the streets and hiring Chinese. Is that what you are referring to? What exactly do you expect to happen?

That last sentence sounds like something that might be put in a "Famous Last Words" column.

30,000 Americans currently work for the Trump Organization. You forgot about that.
