the census is self reported, as long as their are closeted people, the census will never get the actual number.
That's a pretty nifty way of being able to claim homosexuals are any percentage of the population you want. Using that logic, I could even claim they were 95% of the population.

Sure, if you want to just have a discussion, then you should probably agree that citing any number that you have, by definition, claimed to be inaccurate should never be done. Therefore, nobody can or will ever be able to cite any number for percentage of homosexuals in the population, since it will always be inaccurate. And we don't want to use inaccurate numbers, do we?

My argument isnt about whether it should be done or not, but rather that you seemed to be arguing that it couldnt be higher than the census reporting.
A part of me is wondering how many of the posters in this thread (and by extension, on this board) fit the "repressed single teenage male" demo.
The other part of me is wondering if they realize that they are being told to react a certain way to imaginary news. Do they know they are being used for the purposes of another?
Someone who really believes that gay people are "bullying Christians", a phrase so abstract that it specifies neither time nor place, really fits in well with the conservative mindset. Reality, facts, observation, and evidence have no place with them.
Finally, to "whiff" on something is to catch a scent. Did the OP mean "waffle"? Liberal gays-- as opposed to conservative gays?-- are failing to bullying Christians?
I know that the large portion of people here live in some small town in the middle of nowhere. Do yourselves a favor, get to civilization and talk to people. Experience first hand life and reality outside of the Fox News bubble.

Being gay doesn't mean you get to have everything your way even if it destroys the religious freedoms of others. It's just downright disgusting that the bakery in Oregon lost everything because some gay couple was outraged that a business owner dare oppose SSM.
What was the problem? Did God warn the bakery owners He would punish them severely for selling a cake for a same sex wedding?
