South Korean President Park Geun-hye impeached - CNN.com

I wonder if Hillary had won & got impeached. Would that have ruined it for future female leaders in the minds of voters?

Its quite shocking that I read she had a 4% approval rating. That is crazy low.

Who are you referring to with a 4% approval rating? The SK president or Hillary? It is unclear.

Hope you don't mean Hillary--that would be incorrect, and she did receive 2.5 million more votes than Trump, as well as more votes than any other presidential candidate except Obama. That's crazy, right?

I wonder if Trump gets impeached, has he ruined it for future reality show hosts and celebrities in the minds of voters?

corruption, abuse of powers, friends has access to confidential documents, etc.....I doubt any US president can survive that type of scandal while in office.

I don't think so.. I think the first female president will likely be a conservative. Of course.. I thought that about the first black president, too.. So.. What do I know?

But.. Hillary is no more representative of all females than Jack the Ripper is of all males.

She was a terribly flawed candidate that lost to the the only person on the planet who was capable of losing to her.

Put anyone else against Trump.. They would (likely) have won.

Put Hillary against anyone but Trump.. She would (likely) have lost.

These two people could only lose to each other.

Many people KNEW that corruption followed Hillary like stink to a turd. And.. that would be part of the reason she lost. If there hadn't even been Benghazi, the email, Whitewater, the White House Travel office and many, many other scandals.. She'd probably be president-elect.

^^fyi, I am not a woman hater. If there is a female POTUS in my lifetime, I want to have a very good one. All the nasty charges against Park Geun-Hye sparked some thoughts about Hillary and the stuff she was accused of

Even if, miraculously, she had won, then it would have created a big problem, what with all the scandals and the crimes she did commit. Thankfully, though, she didn't win the election, so we Americans don't have to deal with it.

As to the question of ruining it for future female leaders, well, Hillary damned sure didn't help the cause.

Didn't take it as that.. It's a fair enough question.. Just.. Yeah.. That's my thoughts on it.

I would consider voting for a woman president now, pending on who it was.

We've talked about Haley on here before, and I think there's a fine shot that she runs in 2024 and I'd consider voting for her.. Condi Rice.. I'd consider voting for her.. There might be a few female democratic senators I'd consider. But, JUST the fact of being a woman.. That's not going to disqualify someone automatically, regardless of what Hillary did.
