The leaked Wikileaks were apparently no big deal in the beginning. Liberals said "they show Clinton is a normal politician and person". Now they're saying they swung the entire election?

Not to mention the media barely covered them. They were massively overshadowed by the Trump scandals like the Access Hollywood tape and tax returns

Obviously the US should improve their security to prevent hacking but saying the Russians put Trump in the White House is laughable

That is a fact. Just like every vote in a US Presidential election is not equal.

The CIA report essentially confirms this news story from last summer:

"It looks like Russia hired internet trolls to pose as pro-Trump Americans"

Russian internet trolls...

Ridiculous notion! Russia would rather have had Hillary win. Why would they want Trump, who plans to rebuild our military and strengthen our defenses. Hillary was for weakening our military still further. And that's only one issue.

Maybe the US electorate is tired of being sodomized (or tribbed as the case may be) by the Saudis and prefers to restore relations with Russia to a properly respectful and arms-length distance.
I'm sure glad I don't live in the US...You people can no longer tell real news from fake, so now you pick "news" you like, real or not....It must get confusing for you folks....The US is rapidly becoming the laughing stock of the rest of the world.

Russia did influence the election just by indicating several times in several different ways who they would prefer to deal with in a US president. That is all they did though. There were not Russian spies casting millions of votes in our election. Only the insane and delusional would fear an opinion. Sadly there are many insane and delusional people in power in America.

I think this is all part of the efforts to get the media under control and add to the censorship concerning Russia and others. RT for example will soon be banned from the airwaves of the US.

For the record l truly hope the Trump administration can improve relations with not only Russia but the rest of the world.

As I said recently in another thread, it wouldn't surprise me to hear that Putin supported Trumps' election given the Democrats' attitude towards Russia, or to hear that they tried to do something to help Trump.
But whatever the Russians did, if anything, is a far cry from insinuating that Trump had a "bromance" with Putin, as the DNC put it, or that he was a knowing and willing participant; which was one of HRC's (losing) strategies, along with "vote for me, 'cause he's really, really bad."

" 'It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia's goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected,' said a senior U.S. official briefed on an intelligence presentation made to U.S. senators. 'That's the consensus view.' "

U.S. officials," the Post reports. "Those officials described the individuals as actors known to the intelligence community and part of a wider Russian operation to boost Trump and hurt Clinton's chances."
