Fortunately for all of us, a election left to the House of Representatives would still leave those obsessed with raw power, and rule by executive order and regulatory fiat on the outside, looking in, which is exactly where they belong.

The entire reason we have an electoral college is to prevent someone like Trump from taking office.

There is nothing Dems can do. The only people who could pull something are the electors, and they are Republican.
