Was he, is he still correct? Is today's media, regardless of format, persuasive, believable, credible, truthful?
Journalists play a major role in drumming up support for, or sentiment against, wars and other major issues. You aren't given the entire picture when you tune in; you are given carefully chosen tidbits that specifically mean to create, and modify your world view.
mainstream media is also corporate media, So they cannot really be considered as authentic journalism.
I think one needs to filter out subjective adjectives and focus on objective facts - then you have news.
Thanks. Just as Toyman, you add good perspective and understanding. We, the public need to demand real news, not adjectivized, unsupported reporting, etc. Now, the most effective way to do that is next.

If the media is trying to honestly report the facts, then why are people like Brian Williams still working?
