The "Independents" aren't a party and the Green Party were what, 1% of the vote? What Republicans want is one party rule and it is an oligarchy now. They own it and it will be interesting to watch because there will be no one they can blame for anything that happens for the next four years. It is one party ruling the country with Trump family members and billionaires controlling every aspect of America.

I think it's more interesting that they want one party rule and are cheering the thought of the only opposing party "dying off". No opposition! Mussolini would be impressed.

yeah the majority of those votes come from three and or four places. It does not guarantee you winning elections
not to mention the fact that Trump was the clear underdog with the media massively against him and Hillary getting all the big money. Yet still won the election. Now that many people will see Trump was no where near the monster the media made him out, that alone will help him be in a good position.
They are already at their weakest point since the 1920s and they have a unfavorable map in 2018. With them putting Pelosi back, saying "nothing needs to change, blaming everything on Russia, unable to choose whether they want limousine liberals like Pelosi, Reid, or Clinton or far left lunatics like Elizabeth Warren and Keith Ellison and ignoring or shaming moderate, middle of the road democrats, and continuing to double down on identity politics and supporting radical movements like Black Lives Matter, Maybe this party can die off. It will be nothing but a good thing.

Because 66 million voters don't count. One party rule!!! Democrats should die, right? The entire western U.S. and Northeast don't count, so maybe they should stop paying taxes or only pay as much as the middle pays and use the rest to fund themselves. One party rule!
