Neither have the Republicans. They're still preaching their social Darwinism and bigotry against large sections of the population. You can't honestly sit there and tell me a majority of this country favor the things they do. They got extremely lucky this election. Hillary won the popular vote by over two million.

I have to give it them though, they hide their agenda really well. Why do you think that is? Because if people knew the truth you wouldn't be able to get a Republican anywhere near a public office, let alone the Presidency.

The conservatives on this board point out that there have been protests by liberals in opposition to Trump. They call them sore losers. Have you seen what North Carolina's Republican lead state legislature did to the newly elected Democratic governor? If that's not the definition of a sore loser I don't know what is.

Republicans say that getting "government out of everything" will cause the nation to prosper. Yeah, prosper for a few select corporate giants who stand to gain a great deal from less government regulation and worker protections. It's just a load of BS they sell to their low information voters that support them. And they bought it hook, line, and sinker this time around.

Sigh.
yep, that's what it looks like, and those same voters will probably cheer when Trump says he's going to "modernize medicare" which basically means eliminate it.

Would those election polls be the same pollsters that claim that Obama is popular LOL?
I voted for Trump, and started multiple threads about why he would win.

You either responded to the wrong post, or you have really bad reading comprehension. It's one or the other

Between the gerrymandering, voter suppression, etc. North Carolina is no longer considered a fully functioning democracy.

"In the just released EIP (Eectoral Integrity Project) report, North Carolina’s overall electoral integrity score of 58/100 for the 2016 election places us alongside authoritarian states and pseudo-democracies like Cuba, Indonesia and Sierra Leone."

"If it were a nation state, North Carolina would rank right in the middle of the global league table – a deeply flawed, partly free democracy that is only slightly ahead of the failed democracies that constitute much of the developing world."

"Indeed, North Carolina does so poorly on the measures of legal framework and voter registration, that on those indicators we rank alongside Iran and Venezuela."

Democrats don't have a party platform to obstruct. Sitting in the house "well" trying to obstruct the democratic process only because they don't have enough votes to push their already rejected platform by voters didn't work. Many more counties in the U.S. Voted republican and democrats have no idea how bad this will back fire on the party.

Democrats on their weakened platform cannot explain why they would obstruct based on facts. Feelings didn't resonate with Hillary. But instead of listening", democrats put back old Pelosi again as if they didn't lose the election and record number of governorships.

LOL

What bigotry? Explain? Wanting people to use the bathroom of the gender they were born with? Saying all cop shootings of black people is not necessarily racism?

Hillary won the popular vote, and lost states a Democrat hasn't lost for 20 years

So you think this is all about bathrooms? That alone proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are completely clueless to what's going on.
