Where is the evidence? Or what I gathered, they just want to oust Assad.

Yes. There's numerous videos of rebels and ISIS working together on YouTube alone. Individuals and units both work side by side in different situations and there's plenty of evidence.

They do this out of necessity for the most part and do have their different agendas and aims. They also work for different entities and often clash because of this. Just do some research yourself, it's out there.

This is what is confusing to me regarding our policy there -- aren't we just helping ISIS?
As bad as Assad is, ISIS is worse.
And apparently the one thing we've learned after Iraq and
Iran and Libya is that most Middle East muslims need brutal dictators to keep them from sectarian civil wars and outrageous atrocities against the rest of the world.

I doubt Ghadafi or Sadam would have ever allowed ISIS to gain power.

Are there jihadists among the Syrian Rebels today? Yes
Were the Syrian Rebels 5 years ago the innocent civilians that Buthcher al-Assad was massacring? Yes

What we are watching today is a Genocide ... And TeamObama facilitated that Genocide.
History will no be kind.

Ditto. There will be no Arab Spring. It was stupid to ever think there would be.

I have a simple test for you. If you hear them shout Allahu Akbar or kneel down and pray after they knock out a tank, they are Jihadists. In case you didn't know, they all do it. Nobody is fighting for Syria.

95% of the fighters were foreign jihadists trained outside Syria

There are also very few Syrian military that defected to the FSA. Most of the defectors fled to Turkey to escape the war per the WSJ in 2013.

There is scant evidence of any moderate or secular fighters. The CIA is forming these moderate rebel groups from training candidates who are openly failing the screening process.

Over time, there is also evidence from repeated boasts made by the leaders of the Islamic State and Al Qaeda affiliated groups in Syria of their desire to ethnically cleanse the remaining territories of Syria of the Alawites, Christians, and other groups. As fictional non-state actors, they aren't bound by limits on actions they can take against civilians.
