It was just on the news that four African American teens kidnapped an 18 year old special needs white kid and did a live stream on Facebook of the torture and physical abuse of this poor kid. He was found walking the streets in frigid temps with shorts on and no coat by the CPD. He was forced to say F. Trump on the live feed. It was horrifying. I don't know how we became so racially divided. I find it disturbing and sad. One of my best friends for decades is black and I'm white. We are color blind. Why can't we all be color blind? When I see 4 pieces of crap abusing a special needs person then I'm still color blind. I don't care if you're black, white, purple or green. If you do something like that then your life doesn't matter to me. If you shoot at cars on the Eisenhower and kill a kid of any color, then your life doesn't matter to me. Trump should be trying to unite us, not divide us further. What did that poor white kid have to do with Trump???? Honestly, I've never felt so disappointed in a POTUS in my life as I am right now.

With total control over Fox News, Breitbart and talk radio (a smaller but still powerful force in rural America), as well as large swatches of the Alt-right forum-sphere and blog-o-sphere, people can be brainwashed into believing anything and in voting for anyone, whether they represent their interests or not. In general American critical thinking skills have regressed, listen to this electorate, a large number of them reject science, reject experts in all areas of endeavor. Of course not every Trump supporter supported Trump for exactly the same reason(s), but all of them typically have one thing in common. They chose to vote for Trump.
Also of course we don't all know the same things, have the same level of understanding about politics, economics, history. We don't all share the same vision or hope about how our future should unfold. These differences, however, do not preclude us from judging as we should, as we must. In fact the opposite!
The issue is not whether anyone is "better" than anyone else. The question is what we decide to do, who we choose as our leader(s), our representatives, and why. Some reasons are better than others, far better and/or far worse than others! This also means federal debt will now be owed to a global bank. Who knows what rules will be established to eliminate the perceived "population problem."

Personally, I don't take time to do other than brush past those headlines. I don't read the stories and I certainly don't watch the videos. I don't need any more proof, knowledge or understanding that people can be ruthless vicious animals, regardless their skin color, religion or nationality. I do, however, pay attention to politics, whomever we elect to address our national and foreign policy issues.
