Migrant crisis sparks surge in Austrian gun sales among women scared to outside | World | News | Daily Express

Quote:
Gun stores have reported a quadruple growth in the sales of firearms, with some owners attributing the sales to a spike in violent crime.

During an interview with NRATV, Jeffrey Pang, who works for Austria's oldest firearms store, linked the rise in the self-defence market to "the immigrant crisis in Europe".

He said the surge in firearm sales coincided with reports of robberies, rapes and break-ins since the migrant crisis began.
Diversity is so great! It is okay if the native citizens feel disgruntled, outcasted and deceived, as long as the invading people feel comfortable because they are amongst their own wherever they go.

I hope the gun sale increases everyday and that we see real action soon.

I thought that was a relatively well-known fact.

There aren't many countries in Europe which accept self defense as a valid reason to own a gun, but Austria is one of them.

Not sure what kind of "real action" you are hoping for. Please explain.

Fascinating. I always thought guns outside Switzerland were nearly illegal.

No, there are other countries with high gun ownership rates. Most Nordic countries and France have fairly high ownership rates.

If Hillary had won we would have seen the same surge here due to her pledge to increase the migrant program by over 500%.
Of course this would have come in the wake of Obama's attempt to disarm the law abiding citizens with a push to accept the UN small gun treaty.

Is it Liberal short sightedness or are they just plain stupid to increase the amount of possible violent terrorists into the country while taking away the rights and means of the citizens to defend themselves?

We dodged a bullet on Nov8th.

Nah, Americans are already armed to their teeth being so afraid of each other. Austria is a small country (8 million pop) and they have already taken as many refugees as Hillary said she would allow (60K) into US (320 million pop).
