Yes, this is true. Plus Trump will not build the wall because he is going to castrate all Mexicans, Muslims and gays. He is then going to genetically create a White master race. This Master Race will then indenture all minorities into serving them and the KKK flag will proudly wave over the White House and our country thereby completing Trump's (aka Orange man's) mission. Got it?
And that pretty much sums up what most liberals truly believe.
If Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council has his way we will be. He has called on the State Department under Trump to root out and fire all LGBT individuals and people with pro-LGBT stances.
How is this American? Conservatives say their fight is all about religious freedom, but this proves that isn't their goal. "Religious freedom" is not a factor in terms of whether or not a person can work for the federal government, which is supposed to be secular. Their goal is to bully every LGBT individual back into the closet or destroy them. For what reason? So they can feel good about themselves.
Do you work for Washington Post? If not, you should go apply for a job there.

While it is true that Trump is loading up on GOP cabinet members, I think it's important to realize something: He doesn't honestly care and is probably more pro-gay rights than anti-gay rights. He considers it a dead issue and I think he's hoping to move the GOP into that line of thinking as well. I think we're about to see the GOP move the whole LGBT bundle of issues to the back burner.
Remember this openly gay guy speaking at the GOP convention and acting as a Trump proxy thereafter?
We'll see how things play out. I think Trump is a guy who wants to move the GOP away from obsessing over LGBT issues and nobody is getting fired for being gay. We'll find out if I'm right soon enough.

I am very much against Trump's election as POTUS.
But why do you start a storm based on pure guessing? As much as I dislike Donald, I don't think he is against gay people or plans a campaign against them. (His appointees however are a different story). Bu so far nothing was decided officially. We'll deal with that when it comes.
Religious freedom? Being gay is a religion? I don't see anti gay legislation coming or massive layoffs of homosexual people. Why do you want to stir the pot and give bigots ammunition?
So OP, is this just ignorance on your part? Or is it your intent to just toss stuff up to see if it sticks?
first of all Tillerson (as has already been pointed out) worked to open Boy Scouts of America to gay people.
secondly Trump personally insured that a gay person was a featured speaker at the Republican Convention before the election.
And when the gay nightclub in FL was the sceen of a terrorist mass shooting, Mr. Trump very quickly stood up and spoke forcefully spoke out against hatred of gay people.
In addition to that when asked directly about SCOUTS appointments as it relates to SCOTUS ruling on gay marriage, Mr. Trump stated directly that this issue is settled and he is perfectly comfortable with the ruling.
Mr. Trump has been very clear on the subject. Gay people have nothing to fear and quite a bit to be happy about.
Nope. Trump hasn't proposed any type of anti-gay legislation.
This is just more fear mongering by the leftists with an excuse to act like neanderthals in the street with their "protests"
