I don't paint the ss with a broad brush..There are knuckleheads in every profession...The hooker crew are all gone.
Every one I have met and worked with were uber professional
Trump electing to keep some of his own people is fine..As long as they don't interfere when appropriate
They are not federal peace officers... Cannot make arrests on the part of government..Have little investigative ability..Don't have a measurable forward advance team..And do not have the resources of government. They could be made special officers but I doubt it.

It's all going to smooth out just fine

Every president has their pets..Trump isn't any different except I doubt he will make us pay for it...Most of Trump's inner security are ex Leo...Last thing they want to do is try to pass another academy...

Lightbulb Trump Doesn't Trust the Secret Service

My bet is the secret service doesn't trust him, either.

He may be wise to pay for his own security.

If trump doesn't trust the secret service than let him pay out of his pocket for his own security force.
The secret service can concentrate on keeping the VP safe.

I wonder how much it cost the taxpayers to protect the president?

Let him use his own plane if he likes.

I say let trump do anything he likes, after all he is smarter than everybody else.

But Adolf Hitler had his own personal bodyguards, eventually known as the LSSFH, which had about 800 men, just to protect him and his residences and headquarters. He was so hated and opposed, even by many of the country's other security forces, that he trusted only his handpicked, personal guards.

I don't blame him, we have had 4 presidents assassinated, and several unsuccessful attempts under their watch, they don't have a very good record when it comes to guarding the Presidents life and with the scandal they had recently, why should he trust them?
