I guess that is why his approval ratings are in the high 60's (as opposed to low 40's for the Donald).

Obama will be remembered as one of the greatest Presidents of all time. He served during a period of global turmoil while maintaining a steady ship, growing our economy, raising employment, and implementing many social programs (including bringing 22 Million of the great unwashed into a health insurance program-- a first for many of this group).

A flawed candidate, Hillary received almost 3 million more votes then Trump. This is a wider margin than the last time this happened. There isn't a problem attracting Democrat voters, there's a problem attracting them in 4 key battle ground states. A problem that is not hard to address...

Propaganda works.
Hilarious coming from someone who fell for a con man hook, line and sinker. The entire Trump campaign was a work of propaganda. Not surprising, with Comrade Putin as his role model.

He's only popular because most of the press and Hollywood are his propaganda service.

He made our healthcare system worse, he bombed the most countries since Roosevelt, he divided the country the most since Lincoln, under his leadership the US debt has risen incredibly, under his leadership jobs have been converted to part time and he appointed a SOS that sold influence.

Good job?

Once again Democrat incompetence shows they can't learn a lesson.

If you focus your campaign on the popular vote, you'll lose the electoral election.

Congratulations on your second place strategy.

[quote=cachibatches;46562628]He has had 8 years, and flat out blew it.

1) He told everyone that he was going to fundamentally change America. His legacy is:

-A health care bill modest is scope, disastrous in execution, and fleeting in longevity, since it is about to be repealled.

-The total ceding of the world to Islmacists, Russia and China. (Wow, 4000,000 dead in Syria! good job "leading from behind" or whatever!).

-The over regulation of Dodd-Frank, which will also probably be repealled or modified.

-The strengthening of unilateral action through executive orders, which is only going to help Trump now (we warned him too!).

2) He wove the narrative of a new, inassailable Democratic coalition based on changing demographics, and his legacy is:

- His succesor could not grab the brass ring and was defeated by (another) political novice.
- The Senate remains Republican and will do so for at least another four years
-The House Remains Republican and will probably be so for at least another 6-8 years
- There will not be a liberal Supreme Court in my lifetime
- 66 of 99 State legislatures are Repubican
- 33 of 50 governorships are Republican.

3) He bragged about the ecomony, but his legacy of enemic growth and bogus employment numbers has caused:

-The rise of the populist right in Donald Trump
- The rise of the Socialist left in Bernie Sanders

Why doesn't he just shut up? We don't need to hear him cry about everyone and everything else when he has the lion's share of the blame. If he's mad about Russia, then he whould have listened when Mitt Romney told him they were a threat. If he's mad about news agencies, then he should have done something to curtail the blatant cheerleading that culminated in Donna Brazil trying to rig a debate for Hillary.

Obama blew it, and no longer has the right to ***** about ANYTHING.

-----------------------------------------------------

Good write up. And I'll give you another major point to consider.

Obama campaigned on bringing the country together.
He accomplished the exact opposite. He NEVER worked with the republicans (and we can give Bill Clinton some credit here, because he did exactly that). Obama jammed the health care bill through without working with anyone. He demonized everyone who didn't agree with him, insinuated racism at every turn. Demonized the police. Racial relations are worse then before he took office.

Reading comprehension is not your strong point my friend..

Where have I claimed our focus should only be on the popular vote? I specifically recall mentioning battle ground states...

Except I didn't vote for Trump.
