Doing his job would be a good start.
Stopping his lying would be a good second step.

Ok, FordTrucks, instead of giving you some snappy answer, I am going to tell you what he COULD have done to not bring all of this onto himself.

IF he would have come into office on 1/20 and did it like a mature, intelligent human being, it would have helped a lot. However, even beginning with his Inauguration speech, he had to continue to be the ass and say things to divide the country even more. Right from the start, he had to take shots at people and be a smart ass.

Then, if he would have eased into the job, learned the ropes, and took it one step at a time before trying to pass stupid new laws, he would not have gotten himself into the pickle of judges denying his attempts, and others shaking their heads. He upset something, like foreign travel, just to prove he was large and in charge. He was so Hellbent of destroying everything Obama had done that he tore into things without realizing what the effects would be and without a plan to replace them with.

Finally, if he would stop with all that damn tweeting and making snide remarks about everyone from Arnold Swartzenaker to the Pope, he would come off as something other than a spoiled 6 year old. Even those among us who are his most vocal opponents would have softened our attacks if he simply stopped being a jerk and acted as if he was sane, mature, and had some class.

But Trump doesn't have the common sense or self control to be anything but the ass**** he has been for 70 years. His team tried to polish him, but it is an impossible task.

Oh, yeah, and Scooby is right about the LIES !!!!!

Trump should accept the fact that a majority of Americans voted against him, including 3 million more who voted for Clinton, and work to win them over by shutting the eff up and doing his job in a professional manner.

How about actually do a good job?

This is like a .190 hitter complaining the media is against him because for calling him out.

He certainly did. They gave him over $1B in free exposure during the primaries because they wanted to shoe HIM in as the least able to beat HRC.

Once he was the candidate they then turned it into a nonstop barrage of bad press. THAT backfired on them in nuclear fashion.

Even after MSM colluding with the DNC and HRC to squeeze out Sanders (the candidate that would have won) and HRC's total absence from the states that turned, and the arrogance of expecting to win based on her brand alone; I still can't believe the left are trying to blame everyone and everything other than Hillary and a disconnected party for losing.

Fact is, they are still disconnected and the only momentum they got going is by lathering up the die hard disciples. This tactic of playing to a captive audience will only bare the same results in 2018

They can't comprehend anything positive because the news they watch only offers negative spin, like: Trump Gets Two Scoops of Ice Cream

Props for trying though.

FT, he has not done a good job at all. Everything he has touched has turned to s***, and he has the WH in such chaos and uproar unlike ever before in our history. You have to start facing facts that Trump is unfit and unqualified to hold such an important, complex position. Yes, he made a lot of money in real estate, but that is that and running this country is a whole nuther thing altogether.

He not only does not have the background and experience to do it, he , more importantly, lacks the mental temperament and control to do it. He is a soup sandwich.

That's right. The press and news media are magpies- whatever is the shiniest object of the moment is the one that will be the most covered.

Trump loves all the attention he gets, and always wants more that he gets.

If he doesn't want the press to cover every little thing he does, all he has to do is stop making everything he does such a big splashy deal.

That doesn't mean the press will ever lost their attention on him, but if he quit tweeting and making so many stray comments, announcements, and displays directed to the press, he wouldn't find himself in so much hot water all the time.

Trump loves chaos. So don't expect anything but more chaos to come. Trump will generate most of it himself. That's not attacking him- that's simply reporting what he wants the press to report.

We have already seen he leaves the damage fallout to others who have to make excuses for his excess. If you want to make excuses for him, fordtrucks, that's certainly your priviledge, but don't try to blame the press for them when you do. Trump loves bringing the storm on his own head.
