First of all -Trump make is own news-- he does not sit quietly and do his job etc- he LOVES the limelight- so do not think the press will go away -positive or negative, and he does like controversy- its all about HIM-

By governing well. Notice when he's made fairly good decisions, even if unconventional (e.g. James Mattis for SecDef), there hasn't been a whiff of criticism.
Twitter for him seems like an addiction. He just can't seem to help himself, but it's not a very smart thing for a President to indulge in.
His words, like it or not, matter and even before getting sworn in, move markets and shape world opinion. Once he takes office, it's going to be much more extreme.

THE BOTTOM LINE: He need to calm down, do his duties, stop talking for a minute or 2, if he does the media would have nothing to write. He is not going to change. o(*_*)o

Social media is showing that the broadcast media is becoming more and more irrelevant by the day. Why take their word for it that a man was dragged off an airline when we can just hop on youtube and facebook and see for it ourselves? So, why listen to what they tell us Trump says when we can go on facebook, twitter and youtube and put out statements on video with his own voice?
The media has been having an agenda for a very long time.
