You mean the part that is dependent on the part where he said "if"? Nope, works fine.

In 1907, African Americans were loyal, English speaking, and about as fully assimilated as they could be relatively speaking....

Sooooo.....ummmm...can any of you elaborate on what YOU KNOW I'm getting at here?

He even said that such people wouldn't face discrimination! Read it!

Reagan was the greatest Keynesian president we ever had since FDR. If he runs a large deficit giving it to someone other than the finance industry, he'll be very Reaganesque.

You know what's amazing? In Mexico, you have Mexicans who flee the country, who claim that they need protection from being killed, who are impoverished and starving, and who are sick and diseased. And they come here and STILL love Mexico and love it way more than America.

And then, in contrast, you have Americans in America who are well off, healthy, usually went to college or are in it currently, and live an excellent lifestyle and they hate America.

Don't deflect. In 1907 when this piece was written, African Americans met all of the qualifiers laid out by Roosevelt in this piece. Loyal, English speaking, well assimilated.

It says that if one meets these requirements, they'd face no discrimination....

Well?
