If you wanted to argue the extent to which you do or don't benefit from privilege, that might be a discussion worth having, but to deny that there is a certain level inherent with being a white man in America, you aren't worth arguing with.
It's called "majority" privilege, or probably more accurate, "minority" disadvantage. It exists in every society, including the societies from which "American minorities" ancestors hail from.
Again, your problem is one of PACKAGING the idea. Shifting the burden from asking "the majority" to understand how people who are not "the average" have to compensate... vs. telling "the average" or "Majority" in a situation that THEY have to recognize their "privilege" in society. Ok, so then what?
The average male is... 5'9 or 5'10. But really, there is no "height privilege" that comes with being of that height. However, stray to far from the norm - taller or shorter - and there DO become disadvantages.
Same with having "Intelligence privilege" or "athleticism privilege".... or even "sexuality" privilege. A PRIVILEGE is something unearned. Being treated the way you should be treated is not a privilege.
When you distill privilege theory into the context of race, it starts to be absurd.
Well i wouldn't count any of the spanish or italians there.
As for the rest, who knows what we would have had, if the spanish and people from these other cultures hadn't destroyed the literature and culture of the peoples that they conquered. Just because it is not there, doesn't mean that it didn't exist.
Why wouldn't you count any of the Spanish or Italians? Might be news for Spanish and Italian people that you think they're "not white enough" or "non-European?"
Also: The cultures of the Latin American Indians were not universally destroyed. It was certainly diminished and suppressed, but not destroyed. The great civilizations - Inca, Maya, Aztec (conquering empires and destroyer of other cultures in their own regions, btw) - had a catalogue of knowledge in science, math, etc. in their own right.

Re: their message - "white guys" are being demonized, dismissed and disparaged at every opportunity. Love trumping hate apparently doesn't apply to evil, racist white-privileged men.

I did turn on MTV for some reason the other day and saw something with black guys saying something about white guys it was some stupid clip .

The deep south was not historically anti-black . In fact they loved them so much they kept bring them in in ships. As long as whites now their place as second class citizens , liberals love them.

Incarceration rate of black males is 600 percent higher than for white guys !!
