The USA will continue to crumble but as long as the cronies on Wall Street and Corporate America get theirs, all is well with the world. The birther in chief will see that his coffers are filled as well and will sadly leave the nation in as bad a financial mess as the last republican did.

So did this apply to Obama and the Republican Congress?

I have been looking all over the house, can't find that- trump promise tracker !! Anyhow if the first few promises are deleted, then the rest move up like candy crush? The first 100 days the wall, was there. But not infrastructure ... That promise must have been later.

Nononono! That's an exception. He said Hope & Change, and that's what we're going to hold him to.

I prefer safe roads, bridges, skies, etc. and it's why the fed guv should get out of the infrastructure business.

Theres nothing wrong with private companies building, operating and maintaining bridges, roads, tunnels, etc. As long as the government has well written contracts that delineate exactly what is expected of the private entity, this project delivery method works fine. Don't want to pay the toll? Don't use it. Nobody is forcing us to take certain routes. And we don't get things for free either. It costs money to build and maintain infrastructure. Either we force everybody, including non-users, to pay for it through taxes, we let the infrastructure deteriorate and crumble, or we have the people who actually use it pay for it via fees and tolls.
