A few days back Bill Clinton speaks to his local newspaper and casually mentions that Trump called him the day after the election. He said he was surprised by the conversation and Trump's pleasant tone.

12-16-16 Editorial: Mr. President, one more question

Trump hears about it and tweets Clinton called him.

Clinton has to backpedal and admit he called Trump.

Such a dumb thing to lie about but par for the course. I am so glad HRC lost. They are just bad people.

Truly dumb, but let's be honest. They're all damn liars and this shouldn't surprise any of us.

Let us not take away from ones lie by excusing it with the claim that all lie shall we? How about we let each lie be measured to its occurrence rather than marginalize it with such a claim? Ok?

That may or may not be true but the Clinton's turned it into an art form.

I guess unless we have video evidence of bold-face lies, like we do many times over with Trump, we can only take their respective words for it.

It's a deflection thread, like so many on here. Trump was caught on video boasting about his relationship with Putin in a 2013 interview, then denying he ever knew him in the election debates. So obviously a Bill Clinton/Donald Trump phone call is equally important.

Deflection thread, I like that.

If you want to live in the tin foil world that Putin and Trump rigged the election together go for it. Reality is the DNC emails were obtained starting in January 2016 before the primaries began and the Podesta emails were obtained in March before Trump was even close to getting enough delegates to get the nomination. Before Trump joked in July that perhaps Russia had HRC's missing emails. And, of course discounting Assange who said he got them from the Democrats.

Hmmmm, not sure that is actually correct, but I had not thought of it that way, interesting perspective.
