This time around, nearly three million more people voted for the other candidate.

When Bush "won" without a majority of the voters, everyone sort of shrugged and said how bad could it be. Then we found out.

This time around, folks are not nearly as complacent. Trump does not have the consent of the majority of voters. Both he and the Republicans are aware of this and are likely to push their agenda as fast as possible as they realize they don't have much time.

I also suspect that a many of those who voted for Trump in the mistaken belief that he is "for the people," will soon have some eye opening experiences.

But the real question here -- What Putin is up to?
Telling it as he sees it, and he's spot on, IMO.

You can bleat on and on about your candidate winning more popular votes every time you bring it up till the cows come home, and delude yourself that no one really voted for Trump, but the reality is that enough people voted for Trump to overcome the DNC's efforts to ensure Hillary's win by any means, and he won the electoral vote, meaning he won the majority of the vote in the majority of states, and not just the most populous bastions of left wing liberalism. Like it or not, accept it or not, and naysay till your life and outlook is nonstop miserable, it won't change the fact that Donald Trump will be the next president.

It is not clear to me why so many on the left are so opposed to a little detante, or to easing tensions a bit with the Russians.
Because Russia abandoned communism and embraced God, the family, heterosexual marriage, and patriotism; so now the left hates them and wants them destroyed because the left hates traditionalism.

Evertyhing anybody said about Trump was true plus the things he said himself.

He cheated contractors on his building contracts.

He berated Gold Star Parents ( I guess because they were not white it's OK)

He berated John McCain as a loser, he only likes soldiers who were not captured.

He bragged about knowing more than the Generals do about ISIS.

He bragged about fondling women.

Is it deranged because you don't want somebody like this as POTUS.

Just where is the likability factor with this guy?

Of course democrats are mad at losing, look who you guys elected.

He makes W look like the most brilliant president ever.

We are not a democracy. We are a republic.
The states elect the president. Not majority vote.

Take some time to read about Putin. He's not some big Russian teddy-bear ushering in a new age of peace and prosperity. He's brutal and vicious and certainly not someone the U.S. needs to cuddle up to.

Some of what you say is true, but for millions of people their vote was not a vote for Trump, it was a vote to send a message AGAINST the establishment and the media. And a Trump vote was the only way to do it.

Let's just hope it doesn't take living in a perpetual nuclear winter to make your point.
