I think Trump's presidency will last 4 years with no problems such as impeachment, and may last a second term depending on public (voter) perception of how he has done his job.

We should see some indication of how he will perform by the end of 2017. I think any opinions will be far more warranted after a year in office.

I also think it is highly unlikely any of his family will follow him into politics after his presidency ends. Business is far more profitable.

My opinion is that Trump entered politics because he was disgusted with the direction America is headed, and that at the end of his term(s) he will return to business and take a fatherly interest in helping his children follow in his business record.

It will last at least four years, with a very real chance to go eight. I think he can win re-election more easily than he did the first time.

case44, one reason I agree with you is the fact that Democrats are blaming their loss on everything except their campaign platform and their candidate.

Like they say, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

The Democrats will have to change if they have any chance of beating Republicans in the 2018 and 2020 elections, and beyond.

They picked a loser with no platform except Obama II.

As long as Democrats don't change they won't win. First sign they are going to keep losing is their support of Pelosi.

Which is why the GOP's neocon old trusted "reduce taxes while increasing spending" makes no sense. Maybe Trump can learn a thing or two from Reagan and Bush, but I highly doubt it.

I think 8 years. The dems are a complete disaster after Obama.

Not true.
Ivanka is 35 ( born in 1981), and 35 is old enough to run for POTUS.

Considering the low IQ of the majority of the American voters, probably eight years.

The average IQ of American voters is probably about 100. By definition, unless smarter or dumber people are more likely to vote.
