Nope. I read about it originally on media, but I thought they had to be exaggerating, so I looked into it further, and lo and behold, a Missouri school district's page warning parents of the new law.

I don't think it's so much about schools hinting for parents to beat their children as much as it is state lawmakers trying to secure future votes by appearing "tough on crime". lol.
