While there are few actually confirmed details as of now, there's apparently a massive, star-studded "We The People" concert being planned for Miami on the day of Donald Trump's inauguration. The idea is to counter Trump's inauguration and garner higher television ratings than the swearing-in. Normally, the presidential inaugurals carry several a-list acts, but Trump has had issues booking artists to perform. So far, the only confirmed acts are Jackie Evancho (singing the National Anthem), the Rockettes, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
We know we didn't win. But that doesn't mean we're required to celebrate as a dispicable man is sworn into office. Instead, we will organize the opposition. And the organizations this concert will benefit will help us do that. This is America. Dissent is not only allowed, it is what the country was founded on.
Better get used to it because we're not going anywhere. To the contrary, we intend on being in your face every minute of every day as the disaster known as the Trump Administration unfolds.
We've been watching you guys for the last eight years. You gave us the primer of how to oppose an administration before it even begins.
Some Trump voters actually voted for Obama over McCain or Romney ..
The "office" has received more disrespect over the last 20 years. It seems the disrespect grows with each new President. I have my doubts that we will ever elect anyone again who manages to command respect from the majority of citizens. Every thing is WAY to partisan now, being vile and outspoken with your vileness is acceptable and almost applauded. So this is what we have devolved to.
Yep, disrespect, especially when a leftists promises a BJ if you vote the way she wants.
I bet CNN and MSNBC will be cover this Sore loser Dem party versus the inauguration .
While their talking heads call Trump Hitler
That "sore loser" party has many of the big names that Trump wanted for his party, but they declined. Meanwhile, he can't PAY anyone to perform for him. This is a sign of what's to come...

we were using your anti bush playbook, just refer to that.
Reminds me of the conventions. One had every celeb in the world, A+ production, the works. The other was mocked and had minimal celebrity involvement. The one that ultimately produced the winner wasn't the one with all the pomp and circumstance.
The Trump people should go all-American on the inauguration. Get choirs--who would love the exposure--from all over the country, get up-and-comers from all genres, etc. Make it a totally America First (not Hollywood first) experience. Hollywood and the entertainment biz already got their azzes handed to them once. I guess they haven't yet gotten the message. They can keep spitting on this man as long as they want and people will still be supporting him.
I like this idea. Give talent from people who would appreciate it instead of arrogant elitist who think they're opinion is the only one that matters.
