We've been heading this way for a while. See Obamas persecution of whistle blowers, the spying and trash talking of free speech for further examples.
Yup, I'd worry more about free speech in this country rather than Russia given how the left has been videoed beating up Trump supporters time after time just for wearing a T-Shirt, rioting, breaking windows, stomping on police cars, pulling drivers out of their cars and assaulting them for having a Trump bumper sticker and so on. Where was the left's outrage then? But hay, they are very concerned about what happens in Russia?
LOL for days. daily beast? 1991 called. Kazakhstan is not Russia. Nursultan Nazarbayev Is their president. And btw Kazakhstan is NATO member and has US military bases on its territory. How about that?

Point of fact, Kazakhstan is not a NATO member, however, it does participate in NATO's Partnership for Peace program. Take a look at the link, a lot of non-NATO nations participate in the program.
No this is not. This is why I don't understand the love affair for Putin by some persons on the far-right. Actually, there is one theory I have. To some, Putin represents "the masculinity that the West lost".
Ask Edward Snowden and Julian Assange how well the great Western laws of free speech are working out for them.
