The hubub, now, is to delegitimize trump's presidency. Russian hacking is nothing new. Why didn;t obama do something in the last 8 years?

You're going to far. No one has said that they hacked into voting machines and changed election results. But there is proof that they hacked into various sites and attempted to influence the election. This does not mean they succeeded in actually influencing the election or anything more than that they were successful in gaining illegal access to servers/accounts in order to obtain information and do whatever with it to influence the election in some manner. Whether they were successful or failed, does not matter. The fact that they did and they want to do it is what matters.
If the shoe was on the other foot and they were doing it AGAINST *your* guy, you would be singing a different tune.

It should be obvious that the reason these people have recently become pro-Russian, is because their hacking activities helped put their boy in the White House. The reason they want to "get on with our lives", is because they wouldn't want the effects of the Russians on our election to be revealed. But if you tolerate and encourage thieves, because they are robbing your opponents, they'll become bolder and maybe steal from you the next time.
