Lets focus on all the issues not just one. There is a heroin epidemic you just want to ignore that?

Most heroin in U.S. now comes across Mexican border, Rob Portman says | PolitiFact Ohio

"We understand that this heroin is primarily coming from Mexico, over the border." Ron Portman
on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 in Department of Homeland Security hearing.

The report also says that Mexican "transnational criminal organizations," (the DEA’s term for drug-dealing gangs) "pose the greatest criminal drug threat to the United States; no other group is currently positioned to challenge them."

Do you know why there is a heroin epidemic....because they got hooked on opiates which were prescribed by doctors. When the prescription runs out they go to the next best thing....heroin. I had a C section and was given 30 days of oxy with refills. I hated it but many love it and get hooked.

This! This! This! It is absolutely true.

How the American opiate epidemic was started by one pharmaceutical company

https://www.drugwatch.com/2015/12/07...tin-addiction/

In March, commentators began to notice a strong correlation between where now President-Elect Donald Trump was successfully polling and the places where white Americans were increasingly dying.

These “despair deaths” are tied to the opioid crisis plaguing the United States

And no, I don't advocate legalizing cocaine and meth. Another thing that will reduce drug use is if our society has better morals and values, but liberals are against any kind of religious or moral education in schools. I do believe that if we go back to becoming a more Christian nation we will also have less issues with drugs and crime.
Good grief. Morals and values doesn't take care of addiction.

Seriously. Those links show that opiate addiction is right through church country. There's a church on every corner around there and that did nothing to stop the addiction.
