I came across this interactive article on a news site this morning, and after reading this, looking at the maps, etc., it will be hard for anyone to deny this will greatly impact certain coastal cities. This article is a study by scientists, who know more than any of us know, so arguing will ensue, but a valid argument refuting this, will be hard to make. Note: Not sure why I spelled "jeopardy" incorrectly....I very rarely spell incorrectly. Oh well.
Coincidentally, just this morning national media reported that a Delaware sized iceberg has broken off from the Antarctic continent. This is surely an omen of things to come.
Oh come on, that entire propaganda pamphlet was exactly that, an exaggerated appeal to emotions. These same predictions of "20 years from now" have been proven wrong over and over again. But with every bit of propaganda, there is also a sprinkle of truth in there for it to be effective, the sprinkle of truth here is that yes, some of those coastal areas will be chronically inundated, but it will be from humans not being smart enough and not knowing enough about our planet by building cities in areas that are at risk of a rising tide, let alone an entire sea. All those areas used to be underwater at one point and will most likely return to that state in some fashion. This is just the course of evolution for the human species, going forward we should be learning that we can't build civilizations on the very edges of nature and expect to come out on top when the environment changes no matter the speed of which it is changing.

For once I agree with you. This is just the Earth's natural cycle.
I'll believe it when our betters quit selling their coastal homes for millions of dollars. Not only that, when they stop building homes close to those disaster areas.
