Bravo

California must remain defiant and obstrictionist until this incoming demon-elect is impeached for treason or voted out of office-which ever comes first.

...But in a state where Democrats hold the governor’s office and supermajorities in both houses of the Legislature, lawmakers say if the Trump administration does come knocking, their answer will be a vociferous “no.” That would likely kick off what could be a protracted fed-versus-state legal battle — one in which people on both sides predict their argument would prevail.

“We’re consulting with our lawyers to make sure (data) is not accessible to federal authorities for any deportation proceedings,” said Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles).

As the new Legislature was sworn in earlier this month, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount) said California has a larger population of undocumented immigrants than any other state “and if you want to get to them, you have to go through us.”
If feds try to ID deportable immigrants using California data, state will block access

So, they are using the legal system to protect people who flagrantly break our laws. A country without enforced immigration laws is no longer a country.

This is complete B.S. and something needs to be done about it.
And something will be done about it.
On or after January 20th.

By the way, you better learn to quit using the politically correct BS term 'undocumented'.
After Jan 20th they will be referred to by what they really are.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

The Feds have complete access to licenses in every state for criminal investigations. When the FBI look up the terrorist suspects in San Bernardio they can easily pull up their personal data.

Will California compensate the documented rent serfs for the excess rent they must pay due to the presence of all those undocumented immigrants?

You really need to stop bellyaching about your rent. I agree with you that rents are out of control. But to continue to complain about it isn't changing anything. Get a better job, or MOVE to a lower rent area!!!

But the Feds can probably get the Russians to hack-up the data for them.

Why are liberals so obsessed with illegals , why do that act like illegals are the victims ?
It's gotten way out of hand .
Embarrassed by these regressive politicians in CA.
We need a return to common sense and law and order.
They are now acting like illegals are the backbone of our economy .
Truth is these politically just want to remain in power and keep their cushy high paying jobs .
