But what about that big concert that the Dems were going to hold as their own weird, mental "inauguration" ball?
Hillary won't be there?
That's hilarious.
The Freedom Concert was posited as a joke by Robert Reich, who served in three presidential administrations -- most recently as Secretary of Labor for Bill Clinton -- on his Facebook page last month. It's not actually happening.
I don't imagine it will be all that difficult for the Clintons and others who attend. Looks like the inauguration will be fairly short.
There will be the singing of the national anthem (by a young woman who is getting dreadful career advice), a performance by the Rockettes (if they can find 18 of them willing to do it), and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (whose church continues to insist they are absolutely not endorsing Trump).
And that the democrats & celebrities that don't are out looking for a job
Don't mistake me for a Trump supporter, because I find him appalling. I just think that the Office of the President is much bigger than Donald J. Trump, and their presence reflects the peaceful transition of power on which our nation depends.

I agree.
I can't imagine that the Clintons or the Obamas would be no shows.
And please God, don't let Trump give all his "enemies" a FU fist after taking the oath of office.
I still get a chuckle out of his Christmas and New Year's greeting tweets.

I agree. This was the most contentious election cycle in recent memory and I respect the Clintons for putting the nation's interests first. All former presidents attending the inauguration is good for our country. The gloves can come off on January 21st.
They're all actors in a political reality series. Once the scripts are read and curtain comes down it's party time.
