Apple has been forced to remove the NYT app at the demand of Chinese government. The fiction began when an anti- government NYT article highlighted the lavish excess that government leaders were spending. Now Apple reduced what little outside news stories can be read by removing the NYT app.

Free speech can be one argument but companies that bow down just in interest of money is another. Basically Apple trusts the Chinese government but not the U.S.
