Didn't need a phone, but since the gas prices have never hit $5.20 again, like the prices were when Bush was in office, I figure I've gotten a lot of free fuel since then; about every 3rd gallon or thereabouts. For 8 years, too.

Thanks, Obama.
LOL when gas prices were up under Bush it was his fault. When they surged under Obama it was the greedy gas companies.
I have a flip phone funded by me while someone not working has a full-featured cell phone that they use to check and make sure their welfare check got to the bank. That is the way I see it.
I have saw the mailings for the Obamaphones and the contractors are very aggressive about getting people to sign up. I figure the contractors/manufacturers/businesses probably donated heavily to Obama and this was the payback. I mean, you have to call the AG to get them to stop the mailings!
Kind of brings a tear to the eyes......all the hope and changey still fresh in the air. Then reality set in and the left went all kinds of snowflake & nutsy & all so whiny in late 2016 to the current time frame.
Gas prices have been reasonable, we have seen improvements in mpg which has been a plus, and I paid for my own phone. The Obama years have actually been pretty good for me after weathering a very rough recession that Bush and the Republicans created. Thankfully I am in a much better position today for when Trump and the Republicans create the next recession.
