Unfortunately, God is using that extra CO2 in the oceans to increase the acidity of the water. That's not been so good for marine life and coral reefs. I'm not sure what God has against marine life and coral reefs, but hey...mysterious ways.

Maybe if we can get 10-15 calderas blow simultaneously we can wipe out the scourge of man and our co2!

When would that be? This graph says you are wrong.. http://www.southwestclimatechange.or...re_records.jpg

Welcome to the Pliocene. That was the Earth about three to five million years ago, very different to the Earth we inhabit now. But in at least one respect it was rather similar. This is the last time that carbon dioxide (CO2) levels were as high as they are today. Climate Change: Climate Resource Center - Graphic: Carbon dioxide hits new high

CO2 is a very very weak greenhouse gas. Water Vapor is by far number 1. Anyone against clouds?
Increased water vapor is a product of increasing temperature, but only stays in the atmosphere for a matter of days, whereas CO2 remains and affects the temperature for centuries. Increased water vapor is a feed back effect directly related to an increase in atmospheric CO2...

Which god....Pick one, as there are hundreds that people believe exist....News flash...None exist except in the imaginations of people.

Be careful what you wish for....Yellowstone is overdue, but an eruption would certainly cool things down.

One point I found especially interesting is Mr. Keenan's observation that as the global atmosphere warms, it actually opens up areas for plants to grow (higher elevations). Of course, such is somewhat offset, I imagine, by loss of vegetation at the lower elevations due to excessive heat and drought (and of course, de-forestation).

One thing I wonder about: the article seems to be arguing that the carbon dioxide rate in the atmosphere held steady from 2002 to 2014, which he was attributing to plants 'ramping up' to try to take care of said excess carbon dioxide.

Of course, correlation is not necessarily causation. Some countries (including the US of A) have been attempting to limit such 'greenhouse' gases for two decades or more. I would think (of course, I do not know) that the flat-rate of growth of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere could be both to human efforts and plant efforts.
Too bad that it's not true, as CO2 has continued to grow steadily.

CO2 Science
Lootens and Heursel (1998) reported that two Phalaenopsis hybrids grown at an atmospheric CO2 concentration of 950 ppm exhibited net photosynthetic rates that were over 80% greater than those displayed by control plants grown at 350 ppm CO2. Similarly, pineapple plants grown at 700 ppm CO2 exhibited photosynthetic rates that were more than 80%
CO2 science is not science at all...It is a site dedicated to denying CO2's role in climate change.

There's only One.

If you just think about this process alone. Who created that?

Surely something as precise as plant life and human/animal life sustaining each other through what they produce, simply by existing - was not commenced by accident, or by chance, but was actually designed by Someone.
