Not saying he should keep Obama diplomats. Just seems the logistics are a bit [expletive]-ish
US Ambassadors usually have rather impressive 'Official Residents', I know the Ambassador to the UK lives in the very impressive and grand Winfield House in Regents Park and no doubt other counties have equally impressive official residencies for the US Ambassador.
So it's not like moving house, as this will onlo involve personal possessions.
This is entirely up to the US, although it should be noted that many US Intelligence and Security Organisations have a very close relationship with their British Counterparts and this will continue whether there is an Ambassador in place or not.
A senior Trump transition official said there was no ill will in the move, describing it as a simple matter of ensuring that Mr. Obama’s overseas appointees leave the government on schedule, just as thousands of political aides at the White House and in federal agencies must do.
Obama and Trump are diametrically opposed on foreign policy. This move shouldn't surprise anyone. I support Trump's decision to put his own people in place.

I haven't seen that he has any people to put in place, though. Have you heard anything?

And is it not common practice for ambassadors and other appointees to leave their position when there is a new president. And how long have they known there would be a different president-4 years?
