But Americans are known for their optimism so off we go on the ride of our lifetimes.
Just hide out in a gender neutral bathroom with your diaper pin right on your lapel. You will be okay sweetie.

At least Trump won. Hillary is a total loser, and Obama created Trump - so we thank Obama.

And who was US intelligence attacking Trump in favor of?

Trump supporters have been the worst "winners" the country has ever seen post election
You're right. They've been on a non-stop crusade do de-legitimize the election by any means and excuse possible. And this was after they used their entire unbalanced influence in the establishment and press to deligitimize and slander the opposing candidate during the election. Oh, wait, that was and is the liberals. Tell me, again, how Trump supporters are the worst contingent?

and as divided as the country became in 2016, it appears it will only get worse.
What's your philosophy: that a liberal administration can divide the nation to the worst state that it has been since the 1960's, and then its the conservative's responsibility to pick up the pieces? You calculated badly. The game is finished and "unity" is shelved as per the liberal agenda.

Now his inaugural speech will be about unity? Seriously? It's like we are living in some insane satire.
No one owes the liberals a single thing, given their behavior in the last administration and their ongoing behavior today. You'll be lucky to avoid civil war at this point, as per your behavior.

Why not that's the democrats way. Remember Obama saying "It's our turn" or “They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.â€

The only jerk was Trump who insulted pretty much everyone and still does. He has divided this country like no other. And now he is going to preach unity while still insulting people on twitter And you call some of us jerks.

If the left behaves maturely, its points of view should be listened to, at least to try to understand them. If they continue acting like 6 year olds, ad they have for 2 months, DT should repeat Obama's mantra "Elections have consequences", and like Dems in 2009, use his one party control of all chambers to its maximum capability. W/O listening to the left.

The US intelligence community isn't attacking Trump, they're giving their assessment of hacking and propaganda campaigns launched by Russia in an effort to influence US elections.

tSo you think it's just fine that a foreign actor used its resources (its own intelligence and hacking community, its own state-run media) to try to influence US elections?

Surely you can point out specifically what the press in the US did to slander Trump. Hint: reporting facts is not slander.

Had American media not given Trump endless free coverage to spread his BS and never really called him out on anything, he wouldn't even be the president-elect. You should be thanking US media for their coverage of him. His goal was to get as much free press as possible and keep them constantly covering the next new ridiculous thing he said rather than digging in to his bigger scandals and hypocrisies, and they complied eagerly because it was good for ratings.

Point out, specifically, how the Obama administration divided the country.

Did Obama run around screaming about how John Boehner wasn't an American? No, that was your side and your orange god Donald Trump saying that about Obama.

Did Obama publicly vow to do everything he could to make the Republicans fail and get drummed out of office? No, that was your side saying that about Obama.

Did Obama veto bills that he once supported after they managed to get Republican votes? No, that was your side voting against their own bills out of spite.

Or maybe it was Obama who refused to help people in coal country? Oh wait, no, he wanted to spent billions on carbon capture, shoring up health and pension funds, reclaiming old mines, and providing job training. It was Republicans who decided people in Appalachia shouldn't get that investment. After all, better to make their constituents who they supposedly care so much about suffer than to do something that might make Obama look good. And they can do that safe in the knowledge that they will never be called out in any media outlet that their constituents actually pay attention to.
