WTF? The guy is in prison for life. He killed someone... and he gets state funded surgery??? Wheres the Logic???
A 57-year-old convicted killer serving a life sentence in California became the first U.S. inmate to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery, the prisoner's attorneys confirmed Friday to The Associated Press.
California prison officials agreed in August 2015 to pay for the surgery for Shiloh Heavenly Quine, who was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery for ransom and has no possibility of parole.
This article blew my mind with how insane it is, but sadly I'm not surprised that this is happening. And near the end it states that the costs could reach close to $100,000 dollars!! Another thing that is nuts, is that it said that the federal government will likely reimburse CA for up to 95% of the costs. Well thats just great....so now we are all paying for this lunacy regardless of if we live in the leftist crazyland of Cali or not. This country is nearly 20trillion in debt and we're forking a significant sum of money over to the whims of mental illness gender confusion of an inmate. Obviously, the priorities of CA and this country are WAAAAY out of whack for this to happen.
So... the average person can't afford $25,000-50,000 gender reassignment surgery but a SERIAL KILLER can get it at the gob'mints expense? Lets see..... he is going to need Hormones after the surgery for who knows how long and what other expenses?
Well in the past it has been that if the inmate is under gender therapy when entering the system, the state has to pay for the rest of the change. But this lovely has been in since the 80's entering at 22. He's now 57 and will get to spend the rest of his sentence in a women's prison. It was probably getting pretty unbearable even being in protective custody, which I am sure he was.
The U.S. miltary is doing it too. Can't afford a sex change, get incarcerated or join the service.
Remember this stuff when some progressive loon tells you paying taxes is patriotic.
There is no logic when it comes to California's politicians anymore.
Any politician that approves a surgery like this , for a serial kidnapping murderer ahould be removed from office and arrested. California has been doing a lot of stupid things recently but this tops the cake . Are the politicians in California really that concerned about a serial killers identity issues? It's bad enough taxpayers have to pay to imprison him for life.

Forget he's a killer for a moment ,why should anyone get a sex change on the taxpayer dime?
