*And don't forget that a lot of those "20 million people" who gained coverage were young, healthy people who were forced to buy health insurance that they didn't want or need.
That's how insurance works. Your argument is like saying good drivers should have the option to not buy auto insurance because they don't think they need it.
I agree with reducing, significantly, the incentives to coming here. We give to much to illegals.
The legal immigrants are what we want.
But, we can and should fix our immigration policies to get people in here.
if we make the process better, ensuring safety of our people first, the process will be a win win.
It's not about making the legal process better. It's about too many foreigners wanting to migrate here that we can't accommodate in jobs and resources and therefore not being able to allow them to come here. We certainly don't need the poor, unskilled and uneducated as they are a burden to our society and that's what most illegals are.
MIT says closer to $40 billion not including land purchases and legal fees.
Still can't be more than one year's costs of illegal aliens. Do the math! It would be mostly a one time cost where the $113 billion is the cost off illegal aliens to us each and every year and those costs will just rise with no good physical barrier to stop them. I don't put a price on our national security either. It's not just migrants coming to work here that are getting thru our border.
Your article mentions 1,000 miles of wall and shows a wall covering the entire southern border. I'm only advocating for 700 miles which congress already approved. Your article was obviously biased against the wall and Trump also. Color me not convinced.
As long as they don't build the wall. Waste of tax paying money. A wall is easy to scale or dig under. There already has been places where the border has tunnels. There is not enough border patrol agents.
Needs to be done is:
Single Payer Healthcare for US born/naturalized citizens in the States they reside in
Driver License's/State IDs for US born/naturalized citizens
Public higher education for US born/naturalized citizens or children of undocumented immigrants who grated high school/GED
Goverment financial assistance programs for US born/naturalized citizens
Fine business who hire undocumented worker's
Shut businesses down indefinitely who hire undocumented workers after three fines
End the war on drugs and legalize all hard drugs. All hard drugs will be regulated in a DPH Facility.
Nope! The double layered wall is not easy to penetrate, period. The places where there are tunnels are not under that type of wall and we also have tunnel sensors. The 700 mile long wall was supposed to be that type of wall on the most porous areas of our border forcing illegal aliens to try and cross at much more difficult and dangerous areas and the Border Patrol would be freed up to patrol those areas.
I agree with fining businesses for hiring illegal aliens (no such thing as an undocumented). I disagree about legalizing hard drugs.
We could always take all the money we give Israel to build their settlements.
We could stop wasting a lot of money in lots of places. 26,171 bombs are quite expensive.

But American Jews would never allow anything negative to happen to Israel. They far too much control this country's finances, media and politics. Completely outsized per their population. Disgraceful.
Being as they are not large in numbers they can't do anything on their own.
