A 'good, close relationship' with Russia means turning a blind eye to their human rights violations, their nefarious attacks on other countries( hello? they just hacked us?), their rampant corruption, etc.

No, a large percentage of this country is suffering from mental illness and that is the danger. It is far more real than any of this chicken little garbage. There is a middle ground and there are a lot of people on either side of that, entering into lala land.
