Don't ever let the FACTS get in the way. He was bestowed HONORARY citizenship which would not even get him a passport. His mother however was an American.

If only the location of a statue of a British politician was the biggest problem this nation was facing.

Glad Trump is sorting out the big issues....

Never said otherwise.

It's your claim that he is a non-American. Prove that being bestowed Honorary Citizenship makes him a non-American.

There are two busts: one presented to Lyndon B. Johnson in the '60s and the other loaned to the Bush (43) administration by Tony Blair. I am under the impression that the one on loan has returned to Britain (I believe it now is displayed at the British embassy), and the other is on display outside the treaty room in the residence.

Our presidents may decorate the Oval Office in whatever way they please, and there is a large rotating collection of official pieces from which they may choose to furnish the Oval Office and residence in addition to their personal belongings. President Obama selected artwork that inspired him during his administration, and President-elect Trump will do the same. This is as it should be.

As for Churchill his mother "Jennie" Jerome (Lady Randolph Churchill) was born and raised in Brooklyn NYC, and is therefore an important figure in respect of US history as well as in relation to the UK.

Lady Randolph Churchill - Wiki

The Curchill statue is irrelevant, and I am sure the UK and US will continue to have a close relationship.

Sure, Churchill was standing up against the Nazis long before even his own countryman were, but, this was also at a time when the U.S. wanted to stay out of it. Then we went to war against Japan first, then came to the aid of England, second, at their request, for the second time. So Churchill is a British hero, not an American one.

But, I do hope this turns out to be real and that Trump does get the bust of the man who stood up against the Nazi's/Hitler back and that he does so in a very public way; it would be a confusing message to the "alt-right" that they'd likely not understand.

He would not have been eligible for a passport as he was not a real US citizen with all the accorded rights and privileges.

On January 21st, he's welcome to walk down the hall, pick up the bust from outside the Treaty Room, and place in the Oval Office if he so wishes. Nobody will stop him.

Trump can find it right outside the Treaty room in the White House. The search for the Churchill bust shouldn't be too hard.
