Not that he deserves it but Trump should have picked him as Veterans affairs secretary just to get him out of the senate and the limelight. At this point he is 80 and keeps saying and doing stupid things. Time to retire.
McCain gave some papers to someone. Those papers contained information which indicated that the President elect might be in a bad situation. Or worse.
The intel community thinks there is a lot going on, and they will get to the bottom of it. Likely there is a LOT more going on than what is suggested in those papers.

IMHO now we know why the Donald was so anxious to let the hacking "go away" and thanked Putin for not expelling our diplomats. The Donald got caught doing something, we don't know exactly what yet, but chances are it involves Melania and goes back many years. Suppose she is a spy and he has been set up all these years by Putin?
When people profess too loudly, or don't want certain events to continue, or don't want certain things revealed (taxes, for example) there is usually a reason. Putin probably already has the Donalds taxes and is playing with him like a cat does with a mouse before it eats it. When he is ready, Putin will stop playing with the Donald, eat him alive, and embarrass (or worse) the United States of America. Trump will sell us all down the river before he allows that to happen in order to preserve his self image. The we will be stuck "making America Great again, again".
Do Not Underestimate the seriousness of what happened today, capped off by The Donalds willingness to ignore the US Constitution with regard to his business activities. A very Deep hole has been dug....and either he resigns before he ever takes office (I don't think Putin will push him this early; he wants to humiliate our Nation), or you are going to see the legal skirmish of all skirmishes over the future of our Nation in the coming years.
Also, the Daily Mail is known as the Daily Fail in the UK. It's absolute rubbish.
