Consider dumping huffpo....they're not as bad as Breitbart or Daily Kos but they're at least as bad as Fox.
Probably a hair worse than Fox honestly... and I don't like Fox and haven't for a long long time. At least most of the mainline news orgs make some kind of pretense of trying to hide their biases.
lol You couldn't even figure out the simple solution to this mans problem would be a full time job and we're supposed to believe you are going great?
btw the economy isn't about you. That's another thing you haven't figured out.
You're a Texan, so I realize that I have to give you a huge handicap....but did it ever occur to you that a part time job is all he could find at the time? Or does that possible fact just go straight over your head? See, people often work part time until they can find a full time job. Happens millions of times a year. Normal people understand that. But then, what's normal everywhere else is often a foreign concept to you people.
As to what you're supposed to believe, don't worry about it. I ain't missing any meals. Just worry about how you're gonna fill your own belly in Obama's horrible economy.
All of you carrying on about how he didn't call in, apparently MISSED THIS POST.
He DID call in:

In the month that followed, Austin said that he did not miss a shift and took on other’s shifts. On Dec. 28, however, Austin said he couldn’t cover for another employee who had canceled because of the snowstorm. He said he needed to attend a doctor’s appointment for his wife, as they were expecting the birth of their baby boy any day.
When Austin was scheduled to work on Friday and Saturday later that week, his 26-year-old wife, Lindsay Austin, went into labor.
He told his boss he couldn’t come in.
“I didn’t want to make it seem like I’m trying to miss work or something,” Austin said. “The second day I told my boss, ‘My wife is still in labor,’ and he just said, ‘You’re forcing my hand, if you aren’t in work by 8 tomorrow we are going to terminate you.’ ”

If he called in then I would say it is basically an ***hole boss. I mentioned earlier my experience getting fired by an ***hole boss as a teen. It happens sometimes and it sucks but there is not much to do about it. The bright side is if his boss was such an ***hole that he actively denied leave for a guy to go to the birth of his son, it was probably a really really crappy place to work anyway.
If that. I'm not even 100% cool with just a text, but it's better than nothing at all and it certainly would not leave one's employer wondering if one had skipped town or was missing and in a ditch someplace, would it?
Sorry I just don't buy this. I did the same thing in 1985 started a new job and a 90 day probation but told all the Boss's that the Mrs was pregnant an due in a month, not a problem.By the way I just retired from that same job. after 31 years.

OK?
Regardless, I'm sure he's not stressing much about how he's going to feed these kids. He has the taxes that are robbed from working people to fall back on to fill the gaps.
