Bias, fraud and falsehoods mark the end of this profession. In the political and popular culture of the left, there is a widespread and disturbing hatred and intolerance for those in the opposition. The culture is so sour and the response so extreme, so partisan that it seems clear that something much more than an election defeat is the cause.
